Meetings are held at Ravenmeols Community Centre,

225 Park Road, Formby. L37 6EW  (plentiful free onsite parking)

Unless otherwise stated, meetings commence at 7:30pm (changed from 8pm)

on a THURSDAY or 2pm if an afternoon talk

Members free of charge and, where publicised,

to the general public a £2 entrance charge

A Christmas Celebration - ‘The Formby Tapestry’  - with mince pies and Christmas spirit!  

At Formby Library at  2 p.m where it is on display

Civic Day

Formby Civic Society is member of Civic Voice. Civic Voice is the National charity for the civic movement in England. “We make places more attractive, enjoyable and distinctive. We promote civic pride”. To see the work of Civic Voice please click here.  An event is usually run in the village each year in June

Formby Remembers

A series of talks to help mark the centenary of the end of World War One, remembering the contributions of people from all areas of the small rural community that was Formby at that time.
